New Year 2008

Well..this new year was a special one because I celebrated in three different states, 30th in Utar Pradesh(Noida), 31st in Delhi and 1st in Haryana(Gurgaon). Lemme explain,

29th was Saturday...my younger brother's birthday, and so, that day was fixed for him. Cancelling everything I headed for delhi, to his place. With him and one of his close friend we three had a nice dinner at a restaurent. No bash and no champagne, slept on time.

30th, Sunday....before i was out of bed, a call came from Vishal and he urged me to come to his place for a new year celebration....now this really put me in trouble coz I had a different plan. It was scheduled that on 30th I would be reaching pallab's place and the next two days have a big party. But Vishal was in no mood to listen and so, I had no option but to plan a day at noida. I left my bro at 2 pm after lunch (kudos to Rituplavan for he prepared very well) and without wasting time anywhere headed for Noida. Reached his place at 7 pm and found out that surprises awaited my arrival.
I met his brother for the first time. He has an impressive personality. I was yet to catch my breadth and he called us for a starter(!!!).....three nips of three different alchoholic beverages(?)...vodka, whiskey and beer....gosh, i realized that i'l be out soon today. Manish, Mini and Richa came and the party got its rhythm. We finished early as the girls were getting late.

No hangovers....I was surprised. So, wishing happy new year to vish, I left his home and had a breakfast with Manish, Richa and Mini at a South Indian Restro.....Dosa....what else. Now, delhi was waiting for me...so I hurried and richa and me left them at noida.

The last day of 2007, so it had to be special. I bought a cake from Hauz Khas market. KK was in full swing...already drunk and in high spirit. The house was decorated with ballons and colorful ribbons. At night Soumar reached, and many others also. The party was fantastic, everyone enjoyed to its fullest. Soumar brought Prafull's Digicam, thanks to Prafulla....we could capture some great moments of celebration. We slept late after Dinner....ohh..almost forgot to tell you, Pallab prepared chicken butter masala and mutton roghan josh and they tasted far better than any hotel.

Next morning Soumar took me wid him to Cannaught Place, his neighbour Uncles have come to visit delhi. We met them and had a good time. We returned at 4 pm and reached Gurgaon at aound 5:30pm. I took some rest before office. Prafulla thought of bunking but I wanted to start this year with an attendence and so thought of spending the first night of 2008 at my office.
