Its not everyday that you have the chance to see one of the seven wonders of this planet and when it comes to "Taj" the happiness is unspeakable. Last weekend, thanks to my friends and the taxi bhaiya....I have had a dream come true. Lemme explain...
The day was Saturday 9th of Feb, after finishing my 13 long hours of office time, I and Prafulla left for South-Ex;Delhi, to meet the rest of my friends who are coming down from Noida. We reached there and found them hiding inside a Tavera...no one ready to come out and face the cold. Anyways...we started our journey to Agra, Uttar Pradesh. On the way, we stopped at a dhaba for breakfast which included paranthas, chai, coffee, dahi, and a small photo-session. Mini was the self proclaimed focal point of the camera..hahaha...
We decided that we won't halt anywhere till we reach Agra . So ..as we planned, our car continuously drove for the next three hours and stopped at the parking area of the taj mahal. Then we booked a came cart(my first experience) from there to the taj entrance, booked the tickets and entered.
Now...everything is just wow... the Taj is an amazing stature whose beauty cannot be entirely discribed just by writing. We all enjoyed its beauty, took a lot of individual and group pics...one with a foreigner lady too, saw the grave of Mumtaj and Shahjahan. Shoes are not allowed for indians there...for foreigners; a show cover is provided. We spent around 3 hrs there and returned coz we had some more places to visit.
Then we headed for Vrindavan, the holy place where lord Krishna was born and spent his childhood. This place has lots of hindu temples but all somewhat different. We visited two temples there, an ISKON temple...which is actually and to my surprize..is managed by foreigners.Thereafter we visited Banke Bihari temple. after this we has snacks and returned back to our taxi..Now...the trip is over and we returned. It was already late and i thought of spending the night at Noida.
I woke up late the next day and went to vishal's place. Then........manish and Sudheep left in search of pork meat and after 3 hrs they returned completing their mission. there was one more surprize item they brought...which is.....brain of mutton. Now, this sound weird...but as people sell it..we thought of trying it. Sudheep and Prafulla prepared a nice omlette out of it and guess what...it was tasty.
we spent that day in Noida only as I and Prafulla were really tired.
